Proposals and Quotes keeps each proposal, its priced line items and any discount approvals together. When a proposal’s discount moves over 15%, a pending approval is logged and a sales director is asked to decide, and sent proposals are set to Expired the morning after their valid-until date.

For account executives and sales leaders who build quotes by hand and need discount approval before a quote goes out.

What it does not do
The package does not generate documents, send quotes or collect signatures. Totals are entered by people, not calculated. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example proposal and set the team timezone used by the expiry automation.
- Create a proposal and add its line items with quantity, list price and discount.
- Set the discount band. Over 15% logs an approval and asks a sales director to decide.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant whether the totals add up and what is still pending.
Common questions
Can I change the 15% threshold?
Yes. Rename the discount band options and the automation filter in TulipFarm before enabling it.
Does the assistant approve discounts?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The sales director decides each discount and makes any record changes.
