Team Capacity Planner
See who is overbooked before the week starts.
Team Capacity Planner records how many hours each person is allocated to each client project, week by week. When an allocation’s week load is set to over, it is marked over-allocated and the resource manager is asked to rebalance, and when a team member becomes unavailable the resource manager is asked to reassign their work.

For agency resource managers and team leads planning people across several client projects each week.

What it does not do
The package does not send emails or messages, and it does not connect to other tools. The package does not total hours or set the week load for you; people set it, and the assistant can add up hours on request. It does not read calendars or timesheets. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, add your team with their weekly hours, and your active projects.
- Add allocations per person, project and week.
- Set each week’s load to under, full or over. Over-allocated weeks ask the resource manager to rebalance.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant who is overbooked and which projects are affected.
Common questions
Does it calculate over-allocation automatically?
No. Set the week load when you plan. The assistant can total each person’s hours per week when you ask for a review.
Will the assistant move allocations?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The resource manager decides what to move and makes any record changes.
