Course and Cohort Planning
Fill every cohort and decide early on the ones that will not run.
Course and Cohort Planning keeps your course catalog, each cohort, its sessions and its learner enrolments together. New enrolments without a status are set to pending, cohorts marked below minimum are set to under review and the programme lead is asked to run, merge or postpone them, and sessions without recorded attendance are flagged the morning after.

Who it is for
For training providers, bootcamps, academies and internal learning teams that run repeated cohorts of the same courses.
- Plan every cohort with its sessions and instructors
- Decide early whether an under-enrolled cohort should run
- Keep attendance records complete after each session
What it does not do
The package does not take bookings or payments, send joining instructions or host a learning platform, and it connects to no other tools. Enrolment counts are not calculated automatically. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example course and cohort with your own, and set the team timezone used by the attendance automation.
- Create cohorts with start dates, minimums and capacity, then add sessions and enrolments. Learners are recorded by alias.
- Set a cohort’s enrolment health to below minimum when numbers are short; the programme lead is asked to decide.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant whether a cohort is on track.
Common questions
Why are learners recorded by alias?
So the package holds no more personal data than planning needs. Keep full learner records in your student system.
Does the assistant cancel cohorts?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The programme lead decides whether a cohort runs and makes any record changes.
