Feature Flag Rollouts
Roll out features in safe stages and clean up flags on time.
Feature Flag Rollouts tracks each flag’s stage, owner and guardrail metrics. Every stage change adds a Watching entry to the stage log, a breached guardrail asks the flag owner to decide on rollback, and flags not retired the morning after their remove-by date are marked Stale.

Feature Flag Rollouts assistant reads your records when you ask, cites the rows it relies on and suggests next steps. It never changes data.

Who it is for
For product engineers and release managers who roll out behind flags and want a shared record of each stage and decision.
- Roll features out in stages with a record of every step

What it does not do
The package does not change flags or read metrics; it is an independent package, not a LaunchDarkly or Unleash integration. Metric values are entered by people. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example flag and set the team timezone used by the stale-flag automation.
- Add each flag with a purpose, owner and remove-by date, and list its guardrail metrics and thresholds.
- Change the stage as you roll out and update guardrail values. Breached guardrails ask for a rollback decision.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant whether the next stage is safe.
Common questions
Does it toggle our flags?
No. Change flags in your flag tool and record the stage here. The package has no integrations.
Can the assistant roll back a flag?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The flag owner decides whether to roll back and makes any record changes.
