Fleet Maintenance
Keep every vehicle serviced and unsafe vehicles off the road.
Fleet Maintenance holds each vehicle with its scheduled services and driver defect reports. Services not done are marked overdue the morning after their due date, safety-critical defects are set to grounded and the fleet manager is asked to take the vehicle off the road, and repaired defects ask the fleet manager to sign them off.

Who it is for
For operations and fleet managers of small and mid-sized fleets of cars, vans, trucks or site vehicles.
- See which vehicles are due or overdue for service

What it does not do
The package does not read telematics or odometers, book workshops or hold statutory records for you, and it connects to no other tools. Grounding updates the defect, not the vehicle; a person sets the vehicle status. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example van with your vehicles and set the team timezone used by the overdue-service automation.
- Add each scheduled service with its due date and workshop.
- Have drivers or supervisors log defects. Safety-critical ones are grounded and escalated straight away.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant which vehicles are overdue or unsafe.
Common questions
Can drivers report defects from their phone?
Yes, if they are members of the owning team in TulipFarm. They add a row to vehicle defect reports.
Does the assistant ground vehicles?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The fleet manager decides which vehicles stay in service and makes any record changes.
