Quality Nonconformances
Fix the root cause of every major defect, not just the batch.
Quality Nonconformances records each nonconformance against a product with its severity, source and disposition, and links corrective and preventive actions to it. Major nonconformances open a corrective action automatically, open CAPAs are marked overdue the morning after their due date, and CAPAs moved to verification ask the quality manager to confirm the action worked.

Who it is for
For quality teams in small and mid-sized manufacturers who manage nonconformances and CAPAs in spreadsheets and want a shared, auditable list.
- Log every nonconformance with its severity and containment

What it does not do
This is an independent package, not a certified quality management system, and it connects to no ERP or inspection tools. Critical nonconformances do not open a CAPA automatically; add one by hand or extend the automation. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example bracket with your products and set the team timezone used by the overdue-CAPA automation.
- Log each nonconformance with severity and source. Major ones open a corrective action for you.
- Record the root cause and progress on each CAPA, and move it to verification when the action is done.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant which defects lack a CAPA and which CAPAs are late.
Common questions
Will this make us compliant with a quality standard?
No. It helps you keep records, but your own procedures and audits decide compliance.
Does the assistant close CAPAs?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The quality manager decides whether a CAPA is effective and makes any record changes.
