Who it is for
For product managers and engineering leads who write specs in scattered documents and lose track of what was decided and who still needs to review.

What it does not do
The package does not notify reviewers or sync with document or issue tools; it is an independent package, not a Notion or Confluence integration. Spec text lives in long text fields, not rich documents. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example specs with your own and set the team timezone used by the overdue-review automation.
- Write each spec’s problem and success metrics, then add requirements with a priority and acceptance criteria.
- Move the spec to in review when it is ready. Record review comments, open questions and decisions in the decision log.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant what is still open before approval.
Common questions
Does it replace our document tool?
No. Keep long-form writing where you like and link it from the spec. The package tracks status, requirements and decisions.
Can the assistant approve a spec?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The product lead decides whether to approve and makes any record changes.
