Social Media Calendar keeps every planned post with its channel, campaign, copy and scheduled date, and records each approval decision. New posts without a status start as ideas, a post moved to In approval asks the reviewer to decide, and the morning before a post’s scheduled date it is marked Not ready if it is not yet scheduled.

Social Media Calendar assistant reads your records when you ask, cites the rows it relies on and suggests next steps. It never changes data.

For social media managers and small marketing teams who plan posts across several channels and need sign-off before anything goes out.

What it does not do

The package does not publish or schedule posts on social platforms, and it is an independent package, not an integration with any scheduling tool. People set statuses after posting. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.

Getting started

After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.

After installation, replace the example campaign and posts, and set the team timezone used by the reminder automation.
Add posts with a channel, campaign and scheduled date. Move them to In approval when the copy and asset are ready.
Record each review as an approval with a decision and comments, then update the post status.
Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant which posts are at risk this week.

Common questions

Will posts be published automatically?

No. The package plans and tracks posts. You publish them in each platform or in your scheduling tool, then mark them Published.

Does the assistant approve posts?

No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The reviewer decides whether a post is approved and makes any record changes.
