Hotel Housekeeping

Hotel Housekeeping tracks each room’s status, its cleaning tasks, inspections and maintenance issues. Cleaned rooms get a pending inspection, failed inspections ask the supervisor to reassign a re-clean, and maintenance issues reported as out of order ask maintenance to fix them and the front desk to block the room.

For housekeeping supervisors and operations managers in independent hotels, guesthouses and serviced apartments.

What it does not do
The package does not connect to a property management system, so room status and arrivals are entered by people. It does not message staff or guests. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example rooms with your own room list.
- Assign cleaning tasks each day and mark them cleaned when done. An inspection is queued for each one.
- Record inspection results and log maintenance issues with their urgency.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant which rooms are not ready for their next arrival.
Common questions
Does room status update when an inspection passes?
No. A supervisor sets the room status. You can extend the automations in TulipFarm if you want that.
Does the assistant assign attendants?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The housekeeping supervisor decides who cleans which room and makes any record changes.
