Laptop and Device Provisioning
Hand every new starter a secure laptop on day one.
Laptop and Device Provisioning tracks company devices, who has each one and the setup checklist for every assignment. New assignments get enrolment, encryption and handover tasks, assignments not returned the morning after their return-due date are marked Return overdue, and returned devices ask the IT administrator to wipe them.

Who it is for
For IT administrators and operations teams that set up laptops for new starters and collect them from leavers.

What it does not do
The package does not enrol, encrypt or wipe devices; it is an independent package, not a device management integration. Store roles, not personal details. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example device and set the team timezone used by the overdue-return automation.
- Add your devices. Create an assignment when a device goes to someone; the setup tasks are added for you.
- Work through the checklist, and set a return-due date when someone leaves.
- Start the review workflow to ask the read-only assistant what is not ready or overdue.
Common questions
Can I change the setup checklist?
Yes. The three tasks are set in the Open the setup checklist automation. Edit or extend it in TulipFarm before you enable it.
Does the assistant chase returns?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The IT administrator decides who to contact and makes any record changes.
