Decisions and Action Items
Remember what was decided and make sure someone acts on it.
Decisions and Action Items records each meeting, the decisions made with their rationale, and the actions that follow. Every new decision gets an open action to communicate it, open actions are marked Overdue the morning after their due date, and reversing a decision asks its owner to record why.

Decisions and Action Items assistant reads your records when you ask, cites the rows it relies on and suggests next steps. It never changes data.

Who it is for
For leadership and operations teams that make decisions in recurring meetings and lose track of who agreed to do what.

What it does not do
The package does not take meeting notes or send follow-up emails. Action owners are recorded as text roles, not linked people. The assistant reads records and cannot change them.
Getting started
After installing, these steps take you from example data to your own.
- After installation, replace the example meeting with your own and set the team timezone used by the overdue automation.
- Log each decision against its meeting with an owner and rationale. A communication action is added for you.
- Add the other action items with owners and due dates, and mark them done as they finish.
- Start the review workflow before the next meeting to ask the read-only assistant what is still open.
Common questions
Do decisions have to belong to a meeting?
No. The meeting link is optional, so decisions made in chat or by one owner can be logged too.
Does the assistant chase action owners?
No. It reads the package tables, cites the rows behind each finding and marks unknowns. The meeting chair decides who to follow up with and makes any record changes.
